DVI Matrix Switch

A DVI Matrix Switch is a tool which combines the digital switch & the splitter functionality in to a single unit allowing multiple displays to be linked to multiple computers. An actual blend of video splitter & video switch in unit, it provides multiple interconnection possibilities making a web like pattern for connections. Available in lots of configurations such as 4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 4x2 & 8x4 this tool is either a table top unit or a rack mountable version. Using DVI cables to secure the connections, these switches provide sharp & clear images @ a resolution of 1920 x 1200.

Of the lots of models available, the 4x4 DVI Matrix has the choice of TCP/IP & telnet control which allows a user to access & control the unit remotely over IP. Switching between sources & displays can be completed using either the front panel buttons or through RS232. Since DVI cables are used to connect eh source & display devices, the distance of transmission can be extended to 190 feet. While the input video signals is.2 volts p-p, the input DDC signal is volts p-p. Equipped with an option for pixel re-clocking & error correction for excellent quality of picture, these units also have LEDs to indicate the connection status.

The DVI Matrix Switcher can be installed fundamentally & follows the rule of plug & play & does not require any program or additional drivers for operation. When powered on, the unit is prepared to emit out signals. Operating on a power supply of 5VDC-2A, this tool increases the productivity by providing access to multiple computers from multiple work stations. Offering multi platform support, these switches work all systems such as with UNIX, Linux, Windows NT and Windows 2000. They can be connected to any kind of projectors, LCDs & monitors (CRT).
