All in all I was one time surprised the results were so dramatic. I expected few degrees for the CPUs & possibly for the hard drive, but to see a 20% reduction in temperature is great. There is defiantly room for improvement as well. The CPU fans have covers that I could have taken off & gotten more dust out, & as I mentioned reaching of the CPUs was harder than the other. Further, I'd say I got most of the dust inside my computer, well over 90%, but I still saw some that proved more challenging to tidy that I was one time willing to bother with. Taking all the cards out & thoroughly cleaning the whole method would have no doubt led to even better results.

My method has maintained the cooler temperatures so far, a week after the cleaning, & I haven't had a lock up since. I cannot be positive I have solved the lock up issue, but it does appear I have for now. At the least, I can be positive CPU heat is not the issue, as now they are running at acceptable temperatures. Your own results will vary, & may not be as dramatic if your computer wasn't as dusty as mine. Regardless, you ought to see some reduction in part temperature after cleaning your method.

All in all I recommend you take a glance around & inside your computer to see the way it looks. If it is dusty, $7 & an hour of your time looks like a pleasant investment to increase the life of your computer & prevent method lock ups. I suspect lots of people suffer the occasional heat caused lock up, it is not obvious what the issue is, & they don't occur often to be a serious concern. But keep in mind, even in case you only have heat caused lock up in the whole life of your computer, it could come at the worst time, or cause permanent destroy.
